• My Story

I was first introduced to Dr. Sebi’s Alkaline Lifestyle by my brother. From 2001, I was battling different types of medical and endometrial issues. In addition to this, I was diagnosed with full-blown Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. Hashimoto's Thyroiditis is an autoimmune disease - a disorder in which the immune system turns against the body's own tissues. In people with Hashimoto's, the immune system attacks the thyroid. Once we established treatment, I was placed on what was considered the appropriate drug to address the symptoms which presented with my case.

Between 2001 and 2015, in addition to my old issues, I began having issues with my digestive system. I had a myomectomy, cholecystectomy, a partial hysterectomy but it did not end there. I had to have a separate procedure to address the damage and the new side effects of all the procedures and their drugs.

I was always in pain and was struggling to keep my food down. After trying several over the counter remedies, the pain and my stomach issues kept getting worse. I eventually had some labs done and it showed that my Cancer Antigen 125 (CA125) level, which was a marker for Ovarian Cancer, was severely elevated Fortunately, that was not the case. Nevertheless, further testing showed that I was at Stage 2 Stomach Cancer. I went on vacation that December but was so devastated by my results that it dampened my spirit. It was at that time that a friend introduced me to Sebi’s videos via YouTube. I made a note and in my quiet time, I listened to every video I came across.

When I returned to the US, my Oncologist had received the results of my scan and records and was able to confirm that I was at Stage 2 Stomach Cancer. There was no mass to excise but several “implants” had already adhered to some organs, my spine, and other important muscles in my body. I remember the wind being knocked out of me. I remember not hearing anything the doctor said after that because I was computing it in my head as, “You are dying. You will not see your daughter graduate college or get married.” Immediately, one name came to mind and that was Dr. Sebi. With the go-ahead from the Oncologist on my decision to pursue other options for three months before accepting treatment, I decided to give Dr. Sebi's office a call.

I was lucky to receive a call from Dr. Sebi after I faxed my labs over to his office. He told me that I should not worry and if I was prepared to be disciplined about what we discussed, that I would be fine. This discussion prompted me to go home and clean out my kitchen pantry and refrigerator. I fasted for 11 days and then transitioned to eating raw food and drinking the herbs recommended to me. In 5 weeks, I returned to redo labs and sit in with the Oncologist to learn that the CA 125 levels had decreased by 200 points, and I had lost 19 lbs. My CA levels 125, has since declined consistently and is now in the normal range which is between 0-35. I have no symptoms of concern at this point and I live a pain-free, symptom-free life at the moment. I am thankful to Dr. Sebi and the Alkaline Lifestyle!

Generally, I love eating but I discovered how to cook and eat foods that are healthy and alkaline. And, I do this solely from Dr. Sebi's nutritional guide. I am happy to share my knowledge and experience with you. Hopefully, you embrace what it means to have an alkaline pH instead of an acidic pH, and also appreciate the journey to healing and maintaining excellent health.
